Imens vi venter:
Release Day
So release is almost upon us and Rail Simulator 2: RailWorks is about to depart our protective hands and head out into the big wide world. Its been a dam hard 6 months since the demise of MSTS2 and the redirection that has resulted in the birth of RailWorks. It has sure been worth the effort though.
While many will undoubtedlyscramble to the roof tops that this doesnt work or that isnt fixed, the truth remains that it cannot be all things to all men. This has been proven by the ongoing debate over how much detail a cab should have if one is present at all!
This is going to be a massive step forward for the train simulation hobby. I am proud to continue standing by our mission statement set almost 2 years ago. We started out to develop and grow the Rail Simulator and as RailWorks proves, thats exactly what we will continue to do.
Im going to put my tin hat on and head down into the bunkers now, but after I return, boy have I got some suprises in store!
Suprises ?? Ja vi kan godt lide overraskelser

If you have built a route in RailSim and you want to transfer it over to RailWorks, simply put it into RPK format using the RSDevTools Packager, and then use the RailWorks Package Manager found under the Package Manager Tab. Click the Install button and your done.
Suggestion
To prevent conflicts, do not port over any content or routes not produced yourself. I think it is best to let authors port their own content over and ensure they are happy with it before re-releasing as compatible with RailWorks.
Nemt og bekvemt. Det samme gør sig gældende for aktiviteter og materiel osv. Vi kan så håbe at vennerne nede syd for grænsen kan finde ud af at lave rpk filer. Indtil videre har meget være manuel kopiering af hele mapper.
