Currently planned are only two versions of Rail Simulator. One for imminant release across europe containing 4 routes (3 uk and 1 german); and one aimed at the US market, also containing 4 routes (2 uk, 1 german and 1 us). This is because the internally developed US content was not ready when the cut-off for finishing the European version came.

Content which is not present in either product will be made available as Addons to those wishing to obtain them. As yet is is unconfirmed if these addons will requirement payment or not. These addons will not be made available before the release of the US version though.

Progress is being made on a AUS / NZ distribution deal, however there are no current plans to have a content specific release for this region. Again I must remind everyone that it is EA who handle the distribution of Rail Simulator, and it has nothing to do with Kuju or Rail Simulator Developments.
