nice idea but here is another:
The driving coach shall have the hp rating of about 10 hp,
so there is no real additional accelerating of it.
The good thing then is, that design of sms's is quite
easier: In the past, I made cab and engine (= outside)
sms-files (sound management system in MSTS terms)
with an outside sound of the cab coach, which is not
very good in view #4 (the cab car make the noise of
an adult locomotive when passing ...).
With some new sounds of Odense MY 50 year festival
I have reworked the ME v 3.0 sound system which I must
have done some really big time ago I remember ... (new are
horn, deadman and deadman pedal, with new dynamics prepared).
The "big" idea was however to make a new sound
system for an ABns which is pushed by an ME:
All sounds (except throttle and reverser) are the ones
of the ME, only the inside (!) pure engine sound volume
is just ca. 20 % (like driving with the side window slightly
open
). The outside ABns sound is WITHOUT
all ME pure engine sounds, as they actually should came
from the BACK of the train (hence 2 times eng-file needed ...).
However to enjoy this, the MEeng.sms must still
be modified for scalabilty group zero, which
is for AI traffic and pushing engines. Depending
on speed and, I do hope so, grade of acceleration
and deceleration the rpm will shift on the pushing ME.
Ah well, another trick which I took from the IC3
is the manually working door opening and closing sound,
only I must replace the MF piep-piep-piep-clonggggggg
with the DSB n-vogn door sounds ...
Well, to bad that it cannot all be done at once, as I like
to do these danish trains
